Donna L is the
Chattanooga Morning Show Co-host on Power 94/ WJTT. She has been a full-time on-air personality with Power 94 for over a decade.
She began her career in the YMCA Black Achievers program at the age of thirteen years old and found an interest in music and radio, where she eventually became Power 94 teen reporter. She was a graduate of Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Covenant College. She was the former host for WRCB’s Trends on 3 program (community-based show). Donna L is the single parent of her basketball playing, good grade having, handsome son Brandon.
Donna L’s motto in life is, “If you have a talent or a blessing, it is meaningful only if you pass it on!” Donna L. has vowed to work with several inner city youth and adults through non-profit agencies such as: Chattanooga Parks and Recreation, Education Arts and Culture, Inner City Ministries, Chattanooga’s Kids on the Block, Chattanooga Housing Authority, Better Tomorrow, Why Know, Department of Hamilton County, First Things First, and the YMCA. She currently has a program in Hamilton County Schools for middle school students called, “Hear Me Now.”
Some of Donna L’s interest are singing and songwriting, sports with her son, cooking (her famous carrot cake), teaching aerobics, reading, and enjoying outdoors.
Her biggest role model is her mother.
