A Texas judge has granted Megan Thee Stallion a restraining order against her record label 1501 Certified Entertainment. According to TMZ, the rapper filed docs to get the order against her label 1500 and distributor 300 Entertainment, claiming that 1501 made “threatening and retaliatory” moves to block Megan from using her own music in connection with the American Music Awards, which is happening this weekend.
As previously reported, Megan and 1501 are currently in a legal war over her recording contract. Megan believes she's satisfied the terms of the agreement and should be a free agent, but 1501 insists she still owes more recordings.
Megan is up for Favorite Female Hip Hop Artist at the AMAs.
