Some Apple insiders report that a folding iPhone is coming in less than two years. Two different prototypes are apparently in the works as Apple moves to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip. One Apple patent shows a clamshell device folded like a triangle and resting on a surface, leading some to speculate that this could allow users sitting on either end of the phone to watch the same content on different sides of the display. “Apple will only release the product once they are sure, since they can’t afford to lose clients due to an average-device,” Kaushik Bose speculated. “Manufacturers are unsure about the longevity of foldable screen.” (dailymail.co.uk)
