From the blocks of Atlanta, Ga to business ventures, Ralo talks about being chosen in a candid yet wide-ranging interview. The rapper/ entrepreneur offers an unfiltered look into his journey, from incarceration to faith, music, and multi-million-dollar real estate ventures.
Ralo, known for his raw authenticity, begins by reflecting on his conversion to Islam and its impact on his life. “It wasn’t just converting that changed me,” he explains, “you gotta apply the knowledge to your character.” Drawn by the unity and discipline of religion, Ralo shares how its values impacted his personal growth.
Celebrating life after prison, Ralo dropped both an album and a book titled Chosen, which he describes as more than just a title. “I don’t think I’m the only chosen one,” he says. “We all got a gift, a purpose. I just want to help others discover theirs.”
Ralo also detailed his financial transformation. While many artists dream of Grammys, he is building an empire through real estate and clothing.
Starting with $600 in shirts while still in prison, he scaled up to create a brand that’s made hundreds of thousands. His real win though, is his property game which Ralo says is making him over $250,000 a month in income through rental units, retail spaces, and development.
“I wish I would’ve put every dollar into real estate from the start,” he says. “That’s where real freedom is.”
The most eye-opening segment came when Ralo revealed how he is giving back to his community. He supports over 30 people daily with food, shelter, and jobs. “If you’re telling folks not to sell dope, you gotta give them another option. A way to eat.”
Interestingly enough, he also expressed some of his favorite pastimes and one of them is playing kickball with his girlfriend.
Before wrapping up, Ralo made one thing clear—his story isn’t just about personal success. It’s a blueprint for empowerment, community, and faith. As far as new music goes, the rapper will be dropping the deluxe version of his album CHOSEN on July 4th.
