As the holiday season nears, Pneuma Church in Chattanooga is gearing up to bring warmth with the return of their Hope Harvest. This much-loved tradition is far more than a turkey giveaway; it’s a full-on celebration of encouragement, community, and joy.
Every year, the church gathers to hand out turkeys and free clothing while offering prayer, uplifting energy, and a reminder that no one is walking through tough times alone.
Kilzma Brown, a representative from the church, emphasizes that one of the main purposes of the Hope Harvest is to provide a sense of community or a sense of family.
“That’s what that’s about. We want you to take this turkey and sit with your families and just reflect on what you’re thankful for, you know, and it’s just, and there is no financial demographic that we place on this”, says Kilzma Brown.
Want to join the festivities? Hope Harvest is taking place this Saturday, November 22, at 12 PM and showing up early is strongly encouraged.
Those looking to volunteer or donate food, and clothes can do so by calling the church’s number (423) 855-8226 or contacting them via email at ministry@pneuma.org . On the other hand, those wanting to contribute or donate to the cause can visit the Pneuma Church website.
