LIL DURK SUFFERS EYE INJURY AFTER GETTING HIT IN THE FACE WITH STAGE EXPLOSION DURING A PERFORMANCE: Lil Durk was hospitalized this weekend after he got hit in the face by a pyrotechnic at the Lollapalooza festival Saturday (July 30th). He posted a photo of himself with his face bandaged up, along with the caption, “Due to the incident that happened at Lollapalooza in Chicago on stage, I’ma take a break & focus on my health.” He added, “I finished my performance yesterday for my fans. Appreciate y’all ?.”
JAYDAYOUNGAN'S FATHER SAYS HE AND HIS SON WERE AMBUSED BY 5 GUNMEN OUTSIDE OF THEIR HOME: According to TMZ, JayDaYoungan's family has been speaking out about his fatal shooting. As previously reported, the rapper was shot in front of his home in Louisiana. His grandfather L.C.Jefferson said, “There will be no stone left unturned until we find out who took him. This is only what I hear. Someone came from behind the house with a ski mask on and gunned him down. In broad daylight, on a busy road. People have gotten so comfortable to where they think they can shoot someone down and not be caught.” JayDaYoungan's dad Kenyatta Scott, who was with his son at the time, said that they were sitting on thef ront yard when a black truck pulled up outside and three people hopped out with guns. He said that they attempted to run inside of the house, but when two more people also carrying guns approached the side of the property, they started shooting. Scott says he was armed at the time too and was able to shoot back. He ws shot twice in the arm but his son was shot at least eight times. Scott says that he thinks his son was murdered as “a result of jealousy” for having made it out of his hometown. Scott added that his son didn't have beef with anyone, and he doesn't believe the killing was gang-related or that his son knew the gunmen.
MA$E RESPONDS TO FIVIO FOREIGN REVEALS HE SIGNED TO HIM FOR $5,000: Ma$e has responded to Fivio Foreign's recent claims that he signed a deal with Ma$e that only resorted to him only getting a $5,000 advance. TYGA DELETES 'AY CARAMBA' VIDEO AFTER BACKLASH: Tyga has deleted the visual for his song “Ay Caramba” and has apologized for portraying Mexican stereotypes. During a radio interview, the rapper apologized, saying, “I had no intentions of offending anybody… I want to apologize to the Mexican community, and my fans that are Mexican.” He added that the video was a spoof of Eddie Murphy's The Nutty Professor. He explained, “I was really just confused, I wasn’t making this video to be offensive, I was really making this video to be creative. The whole concept of the video was just different Latin things, it wasn’t like a Mexican-themed video. The character is just me in a fat suit, the character is not even Mexican. This character was literally a reference from … Nutty Professor. There’s a scene from Nutty Professor where he has the same kind of sweat suit on.”

The Mega Millions jackpot has increased to $1.28 billion, the second-biggest win in history. After receiving backlash, Pee commented, “How the hell y’all mad at someone for trying to hit the mega million for a billion? If y’all don’t get the f**k on with that s**t. YING YANG TWINS RAPPER D-ROC COLLAPSES ONSTAGE DURING A CONCERT IN MISSOURI: Ying Yang Twins rapper D-Roc collapsed on stage during The Ozark Empire Fair in Springfield, Missouri. According to TMZ, D- Roc was performing fot approximately 30 minutes before suddenfly falling to the floor. Security then carried him off stage so he could receive medical treatment. The Ozark Empire Fair said that the rapper had received medical attention backstage and was able to walk on his own before leaving the event. They revealed in a statement, “The Ozark Empire Fair wants to share that D-Roc has made a full recovery from his collapse at the concert last night. He received medical attention backstage and was up and walking around prior to leaving the fairgrounds. Thank you to the fans for their love and support!”
LUDACRIS LAUNCHES 'KARMA'S WORLD' DOLLS TO CELEBRATE NATURAL BLACK HAIR: Ludacris has partnered with Mattell to launch a series of dolls inspired by the third season of his Neflix's children's series Karma's World. The collection will feature dolls modeled after three of the show’s characters, whose namesake is based on Ludacris‘ daughter, Karma. In an interview with Billboard, Ludacris detailed the process of creating the dolls with Mattell. “Mattel was so outstanding with their pitch compared to the other toy brands. Mattel blew us away with their presentation and one of the things that took us over the top was they hired someone specifically for Black hair…” He continued, “Myself, Mattel and our resources took so much of our time getting the absolute most authentic feel and look of the hair with premium quality.
