Do you try to buy local? A woman who attempted to buy confetti cake from a local business later discovered that she was fooled by a ghost kitchen. TikTok user @ughhhyikes was craving sweets and ordered a slice of cake on Uber Eats. While she thought she was purchasing from a small shop, the sticker that sealed the cake indicated that it was made at Chuck E. Cheese. “I am Ubereats newest ghost kitchen victim,” she says in the caption. “Who was going to tell me Chuck E. Cheese had good cake?” Ghost kitchens don’t have a physical location and use the facilities of more established restaurants to fulfill online orders. (Daily Dot)
