Chattanooga families, get ready! The Tennessee Aquarium is launching an exciting lineup of summer camps for kids aged 4 to 16, running from June 9 to August 1. With hands-on activities, animal encounters, and even field experiences with conservation scientists, these camps promise both fun and education. Parents can take advantage of early drop-off and late pickup options, and scholarships are available for those who apply by February 28.
For the older teens looking to get involved, the aquarium also offers a Counselors in Training volunteer program, giving them the chance to work with kids, gain experience, and explore science-related careers.
In addition to summer camps, the Tennessee Aquarium has debuted its new IMAX documentary, “Call of the Dolphins,”. This immersive 3D experience takes viewers underwater to witness dolphin behavior, rescues, and playfulness. The premiere night will feature a special Q&A with Tim Gears, a nine-time Emmy Award-winning cinematographer.
