Miley Cyrus returned to the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on October 16, 2026, marking her first full public concert in nearly four years.
The performance opened a two-night engagement celebrating her latest album, Bass Persuades. Cyrus performed new material alongside fan favorites, including The Climb and Party in the U.S.A.
One of the evening’s most personal moments came when Cyrus paid tribute to her godmother, Dolly Parton, who died on August 25, 2026, at age 80.
Before performing Parton’s classic Jolene, Cyrus became emotional while recalling the only time she had seen her godmother perform live, which happened at the same venue.
The concert also featured appearances by Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips and Model/Actriz. Cyrus’s fiancé, Maxx Morando, joined her on drums during the evening.
Throughout the show, Cyrus reflected on her relationship with performing and the importance of maintaining balance in her personal life.
The Hollywood Bowl concerts marked her return to major live performances while highlighting her latest music and connections with longtime collaborators.
