Apple TV adds a new series to its streaming catalog, which already has some really good options like Idris Elba’s Hijack, Samuel L. Jackson’s Ptolemy Grey, Harrison Ford’s Shrinking, Jake Gyllenhaal’s Presumed Innocent, Chris Evan’s Defending Jacob, Jason Momoa’s See, Jason Sudeikis’s Ted Lasso, and Severance. There are a lot more but if you haven’t watched any I listed then I recommend checking them out.
The series is a crime drama created by Peter Craig (Hunger Games, Bad Boys For Life, The Batman, Top Gun: Maverick, and Gladiator II.)
The cast includes Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta, Godzilla vs King Kong, SpiderVerse movies), Ving Rhames (Baby Boy, Pulp Fiction, Mission Impossible movies), Wagner Moura (Narcos as Pablo Escobar), and Kate Mulgrew (Orange is the New Black as Red).
The series starts off hot as life long childhood friends Ray (Brian Tyree Henry) and Manny (Wagner Moura) in Philadelphia pose as DEA agents and rob some small time drug dealers. Things turn when one of their jobs doesn’t go as planned. The marks turn out to be more than they imagined and they become the targets of a ruthless drug ring.
