The Tennessee Aquarium is creating all the buzz this summer with big news and even bigger cuteness!
Media Coordinator Alison Pryor announces the arrival of a new Gentoo penguin chick that’s now waddling its way into the hearts of visitors at the Penguins Rock exhibit. While the baby does not have a name yet, you can catch it snuggled next to proud dad Bigfoot before it grows into its sleek adult feathers by mid-August.
In addition to that, adults can enjoy the aquarium after-hours at the Fish and Sips event on Friday, July 19th, complete with beer tastings, live music, food, and a reversible bucket hat!
The aquarium also recently refreshed several exhibits and relaunched daily programs like butterfly releases and penguin feedings.
