Chattanooga, TN | May 4, 2026 — Torikaya, a chef-led modern Japanese restaurant, will officially open Monday, May 12 at 1120 Houston St., Suite 150 in downtown Chattanooga near Warehouse Row.
Led by Executive Chef Erik Cielo, Torikaya brings a chef-driven take on Japanese dining built around charcoal-grilled yakitori, sushi, ramen, and shareable plates. With a warm, modern atmosphere, a full bar, and a menu designed for both lunch and dinner, Torikaya is built for everything from an easy midday stop to a full night out.
Cielo also serves as Executive Culinary Director for Kals Restaurant Group, bringing global experience spanning the U.S., Mexico, Spain, and Dubai, along with deep roots in sushi and yakitori.
